A method for delivering a stent device is disclosed comprising inserting a guide wire suitable for slideable insertion of a stent and catheter to an afflicted area. An inner scaffolding that is disposed on a balloon catheter is delivered along the guide 5 wire. The inner scaffolding defines a cylindrical volume around a balloon of the balloon catheter and has flexible members expandable radially and responsive to the balloon catheter. The method further includes disposing an outer netting defining a cylindrical shape concentrically around the inner scaffolding via a delivery device. The delivery device has a cylindrical body and a limiting ridge for 10 engaging the outer netting for slideable insertion around the inner scaffolding. The outer netting is advanced over the inner scaffolding by sliding the delivery device along the guide wire to engage the limiting ridge with the catheter to center the outer netting over the inner scaffolding. The delivery device is retraced leaving the outer netting disposed around the inner scaffolding with locking clips to engage the 15 outer netting to the inner scaffolding.
