[Problem] To provide an absorbent article that exhibits excellent body fluid absorption speed and excellent dryness after having absorbed body fluid even when body fluid has been repeatedly absorbed. [Solution] An absorbent article comprising: a water-absorbing layer having arranged thereon a water-absorbent resin powder that satisfies the conditions (a)-(d) listed below; and a diffusion layer that is arranged below the water-absorbing layer and that comprises cellulose acetate fibers. Conditions: (a) bulk density is 0.45-0.62 g/ml; (b) absorption speed according to a vortex method is 20-50 seconds; (c) liquid passage speed under load is 10 seconds or less; (d) moisture absorption blocking rate is 5% or less. |
