In a reservation assistance device capable of communicating with a terminal device to be used by a user, content inputted into the terminal device is analysed. A response having prescribed content is issued in accordance with the analysis result. It is determined whether information required for a reservation related to a prescribed activity is satisfied, and in cases when it is determined that the information required for the reservation is not satisfied, a response having content prompting input of required information is issued. In the terminal device, images are displayed which have, added thereto, a function in which information can be inputted by selecting the images, and in cases when information is inputted by selecting these images, the inputted content is analysed and converted into content capable of being analysed by the reservation assistance device.
