<p>In this two-phase rotating electrical machine, the number (P) of magnetic poles and the number (T) of teeth (16) are set so as to satisfy P:T=4n:4(n+1), where P is the number of magnetic poles, T is the number of teeth (16), and n is a natural number. The teeth (16) each comprise: a winding drum part (61) that extends along the radial direction, and has an armature coil wound therearound; and a tip part (62) that extends from the tip of the winding drum part (61) along the circumferential direction. The circumferential center part of each tip part (62) corresponding to one phase is positioned so as to face the circumferential center part of a magnetic pole, and the circumferential center part of each tip part (62) corresponding to the other phase is positioned so as to face the area between two magnetic poles adjacent in the circumferential direction.</p> |
