<p>The present invention relates to a compact coarse wavelength division multiplexer (100) and a manufacturing method thereof. The coarse wavelength division multiplexer (100) comprises: a substrate (110) having a carrying surface (111); an ingoing-light collimator (120) fixed on the carrying surface (111); multiple outgoing-light collimators (130) fixed on the carrying surface (111), the ingoing-light collimator (120) and the multiple outgoing-light collimators (130) being arranged in two rows and being opposite, and the outgoing-light collimators (130) comprising first outgoing-light collimators (131) and second outgoing-light collimators (132); and multiple light filters (140) fixed on the carrying surface (111) and respectively corresponding to incident ports of the multiple outgoing-light collimators (130), the multiple light filters (140) being arranged in two rows, reflective surfaces of the light filters (140) arranged in two rows being parallel with each other, and the multiple light filters (140) comprising first light filters (141) and second light filters (142). The light rays exiting the ingoing-light collimator (120) are transmitted to the first light filters (141), some light rays with the wavelength corresponding to the first light filters (141) pass through the first light filters (141) and are received by the first outgoing-light collimators (131), while other light rays with different wavelength are reflected by the first light filters (141)to the second light filters (142), and the light rays with different wavelength pass through the corresponding filters (140) and are received by the corresponding outgoing-light collimators (130). The compact coarse wavelength division multiplexer (100) has a compact structure, small size, and low coupling loss.</p> |
