The present invention relates to a chain compressor for a vessel which has a windlass, two anchors and an anchor chain installed on the right center of the bow deck of the vessel, wherein the windlass has a pair of chain pipes, which are extended through a compartment on the lower part of the deck to each chain locker, disposed on both front sides of the windlass; and the anchor chain, which is moved downwards by its own weight, fixed when the anchor chain is replaced and connected to the windlass so that the anchor chains on the port and on the starboard are replaced with each other to be used. The chain compressor for a vessel is provided to facilitate communication between the operators of the windlass and the chain compressor and to be easily operable by comprising: a chain pipe to guide the chains connected to the windlass to each chain locker; and a press assembler to press and fix a chain inside the chain pipe while lifting up a pressurizing member installed inside the chain pipe by turning a handle installed on the outside of the chain pipe. |
