PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal retreat restraint structure capable of restraining a retreat of a pedal tread, when external force acts from the vehicle front, with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: The pedal retreat restraint structure comprises a pedal 20 having an arm part 21 extended in the vertical direction, having an upper part 21a pivoted on the vehicle body side and having a lower end part 21b rotatable in the vehicle longitudinal direction and the pedal tread 22 provided in the lower end part 21b of the arm part 21, a retreat restraint member 30 constituted of a rod-like member supported as a cantilever by one end part 30a and restraining the retreat of the pedal tread 22 by rotating the arm part 21 to the vehicle front side by abutting on the arm part 21 when the pedal 20 retreats when the external force acts on a vehicle body from the front and a reinforcing member 14 positioned on the vehicle rear side of the retreat restraint member 30 and supporting the retreat restraint member 30 by abutting on the retreat restraint member 30 when the pedal 20 retreats. |
