PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligonucleotide inhibiting the stimulation to human peripheral blood monocyte proliferation by a Toll-like receptor 9 agonist, inhibiting the stimulation to the production of interferon by the human peripheral blood monocyte by a Toll-like receptor 9 agonist, simple herpes virus type I, influenza virus and the serum of a patient of systemic lupus erythematosus, and rescuing an individual from cytokine-mediated lethal shock.SOLUTION: An oligonucleotide has a kind of a nucleotide sequence of 5'-cctcctcctcctcctcctcctcct-3'. The oligonucleotide is used for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus, sepsis, multiple organ dysfunction syndromes and other immune-mediated disorders. |
