PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions, kits and methods for treatment of neuronal injuries and pains.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for injection comprises: a biomembrane sealing agent such as PEG; and a bioactive agent such as a magnesium compound. The biomembrane sealing agent and/or the bioactive agent are delivered by intravenous administration, intramuscular administration, intrathecal administration, subcutaneous administration, epidural administration, parenteral administration, or direct application to a site of pathological conditions or to the vicinity thereof, and by any method selected among groups each consisting of combinations of them. Otherwise, the biomembrane sealing agent and/or the bioactive agent may be delivered from a pump or an implant. For the pharmaceutical composition, at least one kind of magnesium compound is selected from a group consisting of: magnesium sulfate; magnesium chloride; magnesium gluconate; magnesium ATP; and combinations of them. |
