PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance brake force of a negative-acting electromagnetic brake device.SOLUTION: A negative-acting electromagnetic brake device includes an armature, a magnet yoke having a first permanent magnet generating a magnetic field for attracting the armature and a coil changing the magnetic field for attracting the armature, an elastic member for energizing the armature in a direction for widening the gap between the armature and the magnet yoke, and a controller for controlling action of a brake. The armature includes a second permanent magnet. Preferably, the first permanent magnet and second permanent magnet are installed to attract each other. |
