PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer device which does not lose a damping force reduction effect even when high-frequency vibrations are continuously inputted.SOLUTION: A buffer device D includes: a cylinder 1; a piston 2 which is inserted into the cylinder 1 so as to freely slide and divides the interior of the cylinder 1 into an extension side chamber R1 and a pressure side chamber R2; damping passages 3a and 3b which communicate the extension side chamber R1 and the pressure side chamber R2; a pressure chamber R3; a free piston 9 which is inserted freely movably into the pressure chamber R3 and divides the interior of the pressure chamber R3 into an extension side pressure chamber 7 and a pressure side pressure chamber 8; a spring element 10 which generates an energizing force for suppressing a displacement for the pressure chamber R3 of the free piston 9; an extension side channel 5 which communicates the extension side chamber R1 and the extension side pressure chamber 7; and a pressure side channel 6 which communicates the pressure side chamber R2 and the pressure side pressure chamber 8. Therein, when the free piston 9 exists within the prescribed range from a neutral position, a bypass channel 11 which communicates the extension side pressure chamber 7 and the pressure side chamber R2 and gives a resistance to a passing flow is provided. |
