PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which has necessary and sufficient seal strength uniform over the entire circumference of a flange and also has easy opening properties even when the strength of the flange is weak and even when a seal condition such that a resin projects at a flange outer edge is necessary, and a method of manufacturing the container.SOLUTION: There is provided a container comprising a container body and a lid which is heat-sealed to a flange of the container body and has an opening knob part, the lid being partially peeled inward from an outer edge of the flange nearby the opening knob part of the heat-sealed part between the flange and lid. Further, there is provided a method of manufacturing the container which includes partially peeling the heat-sealed part inward from the outer edge of the flange after heat-sealing the lid to the flange of the container body. |
