The filling unit (32) has an annular ring that is positioned adjacent to a retaining ring (26,28) having a set of lugs adapted to be press-fitted into one subset of the set of springs (30). A set of openings by pressing material of the retaining ring is fitted into another subset of the set of springs. The retaining ring and the set of springs are joined to form the spring assembly (24). The volume of a coupling arrangement (12) is reduced in order to increase the effectiveness of a biasing force. A spring assembly is provided to promote the disengagement of the coupling arrangement.
