Disclosed are a network searching method, device, terminal and base station, which are used for quickly searching for a network when the terminal is started up. The network searching method comprises: scanning an available frequency point; judging whether the currently scanned available frequency point is recorded in a second list, the second list comprising adjacent cell frequency points or inter-RAT neighbour cell frequency points and public land mobile network information corresponding to the frequency points; when the available frequency point is recorded in the second list, updating the public land mobile network information corresponding to the available frequency point into a first list, the first list being used for storing the public land mobile network information available; and scanning all the available frequency points, and reporting the public land mobile network information in the first list to an NAS of the terminal, the public land mobile network information being used for searching for a network. The technical solution in the present invention is applied to save the time for cell reselection, and significantly optimize the network searching time. |
