The present invention relates to a device for identifying the location of a tailstock of a lathe, which cost-efficiently and precisely identifies the location of the tailstock using a ball screw plate installed on one end of a ball screw and a proximity sensor installed around the ball screw plate. The device comprises: a motor for generating rotation power; the ball screw which is connected to the motor and transfers the tailstock installed on the top of a bed by transferring the rotation power; the ball screw plate which is installed on one end of the ball screw and has a cut surface; the proximity sensor installed around the cut surface of the ball screw plate; and a controller connected to the proximity sensor. |
