<p>The method involves mounting a near-field communication (NFC) transmitter (16) in motor vehicle (10). A recognition unit (28) in mobile terminal (12) is provided to recognize NFC signal, if the terminal is present in shelf (14) of vehicle. The configuration signals (S1-S5) are generated in the terminal upon recognition of NFC signal, to activate or deactivate components such as global positioning system (GPS) receiver (32), WiFi radio interface (34), Bluetooth radio interface (36), mobile radio interface (38) and secondary induction coil (40). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) motor vehicle with NFC transmitter; and (2) computer program product for automated configuring and operating of mobile terminal in motor vehicle.</p> |
