Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a system for isolating virtual network devices. In a scenario where multiple virtual network devices share one same forwarding component, a management component monitors the virtual network devices; and when finding an abnormal virtual network device, isolates a forwarding core allocated to the abnormal virtual network device, wherein the forwarding core belongs to the forwarding component; releases a resource allocated to the abnormal virtual network device; and deals with items associated with the abnormal virtual network device. Through the embodiments of the present invention, when finding the abnormal virtual network device, the management component only isolates and releases the resource, such as the forwarding core, allocated to the abnormal virtual network device, and does not need to reset other forwarding cores in the forwarding component, thereby preventing one abnormal virtual network device from affecting other virtual network devices, and improving the system reliability. |
