The present invention relates to an advertising method using an application icon and a system thereof. According to the present invention, the method includes a step of providing a mobile terminal with a mobile application for displaying a plurality of advertising application icons on a screen; and a step of, when the mobile application is installed in the mobile terminal, displaying the advertising application icons on a home screen. A certain number of advertising application icons among the advertising application icons can be arranged closely in a predefined layout on the home screen to deliver advertising content of the same objective. According to the present invention, by generating an advertising-dedicated home screen, displaying application icons on the advertising-dedicated home screen of a smartphone, and providing incentives through games or the like, it is possible to increase user exposure to advertisements and maximize advertising effects. |
