PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely purify heavy metal-containing excavated soil and reduce disposal cost of the excavated soil in a shield method.SOLUTION: An adsorbent adsorbing heavy metals is added to excavated soil generated in a shield method, and the adsorbent, on which the heavy metals have been adsorbed, is separated from the excavated soil. When the excavated soil is transferred as a fluid, the adsorbent and the excavated soil are subjected to mixing treatment to promote separation of the heavy metals from the excavated soil. |
