PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for improving durability by preventing cut resistance and internal failure.SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a belt layer 7 is arranged on the outer peripheral side of a carcass layer, by arranging a bead filler 6 on the outer peripheral side of a bead core, by hoisting to the outside from the tire inside around the bead core 5, by installing the carcass layer 4 between a pair of bead parts 3 and 3, and a protective layer 8 including an organic fiber cord is arranged outside the carcass layer in a sidewall part 2, and an upper end part 8a of the protective layer is arranged between a position P1 of 20 mm to the inside in the tire width direction along the carcass layer from an outer end position of the belt layer and a position P2 of 15 mm to the outside in the tire width direction, and a lower end part 8b of the protective layer is arranged between a body part 4a of the carcass layer and the bead filler, and the overlapping length C of the protective layer and the bead filler is set to 10 mm or more, and a rubber layer 9 having a thickness of 0.5 mm-2.0 mm and being 0.12 or less in tanδ at 60°C, is interposed between the protective layer and the body part of the carcass layer. |
