PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater including an inexpensive connection joint of liquid piping that has sufficient strength and reliability related to corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: A heat pump unit for a heat pump water heater includes a connection joint 31 installed in a connection portion relative to liquid piping. A flow passage 64 which is integrally molded of resin and in which heated liquid flows is formed in the connection joint 31. The connection joint 31 includes: a mounting portion 60 for mounting and fixing; a base end side extension portion 61 extending from the mounting portion 60; a tip side extension portion 62 extending from the tip side of the base end side extension portion 61 to a direction different from the extending direction of the base end side extension portion 61; and an inner region reinforcement portion 65 that is installed in an inner region R1 located on the side of the extending direction of the tip side extension portion 62 relative to the base end side extension portion 61 and connects the mounting portion 60 to the tip side extension portion 62. |
