PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively analyze energy transmitted to a golf club when analyzing a golf swing.SOLUTION: A first inertial sensor 12 is mounted to a portion of an upper half body of a golfer, and a second inertial sensor 13 is mounted to a golf club. A first calculation unit 53 calculates a first energy amount generated by the upper half body of the golfer on the basis of outputs from the first inertial sensor 12 and the second inertial sensor 13. A second calculation unit 54 calculates a second energy amount transmitted from the upper half body to the golf club on the basis of the outputs from the first inertial sensor 12 and the second inertial sensor 13. Observation of the energy amounts derives the timing of an action during a golf swing capable of effectively transmitting the energy to the golf club. An index relating to the timing of the action during the golf swing is provided like this. |
