PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately predict a position of a communication terminal.SOLUTION: A position prediction method includes: a step of referring to map information stored in advance on the basis of past position information included in a history of communication with a communication terminal, and searching for a moving path corresponding to the past position information; and a step of predicting a position of the communication terminal by using the moving path acquired in the step of searching for the moving path and a moving direction and moving speed acquired from the history of communication.
