PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclotron capable of easily ensuring isochronism.SOLUTION: A cyclotron includes a pole 4 containing at least one of gadolinium and holmium, coils disposed around the pole 4, and temperature adjusting means 10 provided with respect to the pole 4 and adjusting the temperature of the pole 4. According to the cyclotron, the adoption of the pole 4 containing at least one of gadolinium and holmium having strong temperature dependence of magnetization can control the magnetic flux density influencing on charged particles by adjusting the temperature of the pole 4. |
