DATA CENTER MODULE AND DATA CENTER CONSISTING OF MICRO-MODULES

A data center micro-module, comprising: a housing; a rack system, a power-supply system and a cooling system inside said housing, the rack system being used for accommodating information technology equipment, the power-supply system being used for supplying power to the information technology equipment and to the cooling system, and the cooling system being used for cooling the information technology equipment; and a port that is provided outside the housing and is used for connection to other data center modules or connection devices. The data center module is the integration of a power-supply system, a cooling system, and information technology equipment into one module, thereby allowing for direct factory fabrication. The present invention enables a data center to be set up readily by connecting data center modules one to the other. This greatly reduces the data center set-up cycle, and allows for hardware configuration flexibility and modifications in order to meet specific deployment requirements, thereby reducing data center set-up costs. A data center composed of inter-connected data center modules is also provided.
