The present invention relates to a multilayer plywood, comprising wood of the Siberian larch, which is obtainable by a method comprising the steps of (1) producing at least two rotary-cut veneers, (2) laminating the at least two rotary-cut veneers obtained from method step (1), and (3) cutting the laminate obtained by method step (2), wherein the resultant multilayer plywood has a density of at least 5 substantially vertical growth rings per 1 cm width of the multilayer plywood. Similarly, the present invention relates to a plywood panel comprising the multilayer plywood according to the invention and to a method for producing the multilayer plywood according to the invention. |
