摘要 <p>The method involves determining a rotation position of an electromotor i.e. brushless direct-current (DC) motor, in a predetermined angular range by signals of position sensors i.e. hall sensors. Current signals are stored in a non volatile memory before a control unit goes into a standby mode. One of the sensors is supplied with energy at the standby mode such that the signal of the corresponding sensor is monitored. The control unit is triggered to exit the standby mode such that the signals of all sensors are determined when the monitored signal is changed from the corresponding state. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control unit for determination of a position of a positioning device (2) a brushless DC motor.</p>
