PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive system capable of curbing progression of electrode contamination in a fuel cell and achieving both ensuring of output of an internal combustion engine and continuation of power generation of the fuel cell.SOLUTION: A drive system operates a fuel cell 4: by supplying the same with exhaust gas through an EGR passage 11 when an internal combustion engine is in an operation range at a higher load side than a reference value determined in accordance with the number of rotations of the internal combustion engine; and by supplying the same with air (fresh air) through an air supply passage 5 when the internal combustion engine is in the operation range at a lower load side than the reference value. The drive system can curb electrode contamination because a supply of the exhaust gas to the fuel cell 4 is controlled in the operation range at the lower load side. The drive system also can curb reduction in output of an engine 2 by controlling extraction of the air from an intake side of the engine 2 in the operation range at the higher load side and enables the fuel cell 4 to continuously generate power using oxygen in the exhaust gas from the engine 2. |
