PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical bed apparatus in which a stop distance for emergency stop of a top plate is reduced to hardly cause over-running, and the over-running amount is reduced even on the occurence of the over-running.SOLUTION: A medical bed apparatus includes: a bed body; a top plate; a travel frame disposed between the bed body and the top plate, and guided along a body axis direction of a subject by the bed body; guide means disposed between the travel frame and the top plate to guide the top plate along the body axis direction; an urging mechanism configured to urge the top plate in a direction opposite to a moving direction of the top plate; driving means; and restricting means for, when the top plate is moved through the travel frame by the driving means, restricting the top plate from being moved in an opposite direction to the moving direction of the travel frame by resisting the urging force, and when a power supply is intercepted by a switch, releasing the restriction so as to move the top plate in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the travel frame by the urging force. |
