PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal with a power supply lock function interlocked with charging that can prevent a power supply of the portable terminal from being turned ON by only pressing a power supply button.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 is configured by: a battery 101 supplying a stored power to a man-machine interface 108 and a terminal processing part 109 via a power supply controller 103; a battery residual quantity monitoring part 102 monitoring a battery residual quantity of the battery 101; the power supply controller 103 controlling power-on and power-off of the portable terminal 1; a charging terminal 104 receiving a power from an AC adapter 2 and transmitting the power to the battery 101; a power button 105; a dial key 106; a power supply lock release determination part 107 determining whether or not the dial key 106 pressed down for the purpose of releasing power supply lock of the portable terminal 1 is the same dial key preliminarily-registered to a power supply lock release key storage part; the man-machine interface 108; and the terminal processing part 109.
