Provided is a thin glass elongated body capable of preventing breakage of thin glass during working or treatment by a roll-to-roll process. This thin glass elongated body comprises: a main body comprising long thin glass; and handling sections comprising tough film coupled to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the thin glass. In an ideal embodiment, this thin glass elongated body comprises a plurality of said main bodies and a plurality of handling sections, and the main bodies and the handling sections are alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction.
