摘要 The invention relates to the field of heat-exchange devices, and more particularly to chain systems for rotary kilns in the construction material industry. The technical result of the invention is: an increase in the heat transfer surface of the chain; an increase in the thermal conductivity properties of each link of the chain; an increase in resistance to entanglement; a reduction in wear on the links of the chain at the points of contact therebetween. According to a first variant of the invention, the technical result is achieved in that a chain for the chain system of a rotary calcining kiln, comprising interconnected links, is configured in such a way that the cross-section of the body of each link of the chain consists of a rectangle, the long side of which is parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the chain in longitudinal cross-section, and a circular segment, which abuts the short side of the rectangle at the point of contact between links and which defines the inner contact surface of a link. The radius of the circular arc of the circular segment that defines the inner contact surface of a link is equal to the radius of the circular arc that defines the shape of the opening in each preceding link of the chain and in each successive link of the chain at the point of contact. According to a second variant of the invention, the technical result is achieved in that a chain for the chain system of a rotary calcining kiln, comprising interconnected links, is configured in such a way that the cross-section of the body of each link of the chain consists of a rectangle, the long side of which is parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the chain in longitudinal cross-section, and two circular segments, which abut the short sides of the rectangle, one circular segment defining the front surface of a link and being a semicircle with a diameter equal to the short side of the rectangle, and the other circular segment defining the inner contact surface of a link. The radius of the circular arc of the circular segment that defines the inner contact surface of a link is equal to the radius of the circular arc that defines the shape of the opening in each preceding link of the chain and in each successive link of the chain at the point of contact.
