The method involves measuring rates of change of temperature and thermal or mechanical deformation of a glass ceramic. The temperature measurement of the glass ceramic is made below the glass transition temperature of 100K for determining reference temperature and weighting factors of the glass ceramic at several relaxation times for representing the weight of glass-ceramic. The time-delayed change of temperature and voltage-dependent physical quantities of glass ceramic is calculated based on relaxation and weighting factors.
