The cover arrangement has a water-impermeable cover plate (1) for water-proof covering an upper shaft opening of the light shaft. The cover plate has a passage opening (2) formed by a ventilation element (3), for defining a ventilation duct (4). The ventilation element is formed with a lower opening (6) that is opened in a region below the cover plate, and an upper opening (5) that is opened in a region above the cover plate.
