The present invention relates to a method for preparing anhydrosugar alcohol using sulfuric acid and boric acid, and more specifically, in a method for converting hydrogenated sugar to anhydrosugar alcohol by a dehydration reaction, to a method for preparing anhydrosugar alcohol having an improved economic efficiency by using both sulfuric acid and boric acid as a catalyst of dehydration-conversion reaction thereby obtaining a conversion rate equivalent to or greater than expensive conventional mixing catalysts.
