PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station, communication system, base station, communication system changeover method, and program for the method for making it possible to perform continuous communication on a plane with stable communication quality by changing over a communication system among a plurality of communication systems on the basis of position information.SOLUTION: A mobile station for communicating with a base station for performing communication using a plurality of communication systems differing from each other comprises: positioning means for acquiring position information on a current position of the mobile station; storage means for holding a program and communication environment information including distribution information on communication quality of the plurality of communication systems with respect to the current position; communication means which is controlled by the program to communicate with the base station by using one communication system of the plurality of communication systems; and control means for selecting the communication system by which the communication means communicates with the base station from the plurality of communication systems, on the basis of communication quality shown by the distribution information for the position information acquired by the positioning means. |
