PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that improves hydro-planing resistance performance and on-ice performance by securing drainage and grounding area with a suitable block pattern.SOLUTION: A tread part has a plurality of land parts 5a, 5b sectioned and formed with at least one peripheral main groove 3 extending in a tire peripheral direction. At least one land part 5a, 5b out of the plurality of land parts 5a, 5b has a block group 15 of a plurality of blocks 11 sectioned and formed with a plurality of crossing thin grooves 7 thinner than the peripheral main groove 3. The thin grooves 7 each have a main groove opening part 7a opening to the peripheral main groove 3 and a first inclined part 7b connecting with the main groove opening part 7a and extending linearly along at least two blocks. A tilt angle α of the extending direction of the first inclined part 7b to a tire width direction is larger than a tilt angle &bgr; of the extending direction of the main groove opening part 7a to the tire width direction. |
