PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a device required for the crown constraint and shape control of rolled materials in respective rolling mills without difficulty, and also properly and easily control the crowns and shapes of the rolled materials in the outlet side of the respective rolling mills regardless of the shapes of the rolled materials in the inlet side of the respective rolling mills.SOLUTION: A shape control device of rolled materials of one embodiment of the invention includes a plurality of roll state operation units for performing shape control of the rolled materials for every rolling mill by operating the reduction roll state of the respective rolling mills, a computer, and a control unit. The computer performs operation processing for minimizing a shape control evaluation function using the shape control evaluation function for evaluating the shape control of the rolled materials by adding a deviation of at least a crown rate of change for every rolling mill and the target value, and calculates the manipulated variables of the respective reduction roll states. The control unit controls the plurality of roll state operation units so as to operate the respective reduction roll states, on the basis of calculation results of the manipulated variables. |
