PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus adjustment device that can perform an optimal control of a focus adjustment during continuous shooting.SOLUTION: The focus adjustment device comprises: a focus detection part 21 that detects a focus state of an optical system having a focus adjustment optical system 32; an in-focus determination part 21 that determines whether or not the focus state of the optical system falls within a predetermined in-focus range; and a control part 21 that, when the continuous shooting is performed, drives the focus adjustment optical system in an optical axis direction on the basis of the detection result of the focus detection part irrespective of whether or not it is determined by the in-focus determination part that the focus state of the optical system falls within the in-focus range. |
