The invention relates to a portable device (10) for the personal auditive protection of a user, comprising: two auditory protectors (105), each one designed to attenuate the ambient sound power perceived by the ear of the user when it covers the inner ear of the user; at least one portable sensor (110) for detecting an ambient sound power attenuated by a protector in the inner ear of the user; at least one ambient sound power reference (125) non-attenuated by a protector; at least one means (115) for comparing the detected attenuated sound power with the reference sound power in order to detect a sound wave sealing defect of the auditory protector; and at least one signalling means (120) designed to emit a warning signal when the comparison of the detected sound power and the ambient sound power reference exceeds a predetermined threshold value. |
