<p>A sunless spray tanning device (10) includes at least one peristaltic pump (40) coupled to a spray gun (26). A liquid reservoir (36) for housing a sunless tanning composition may be coupled to the inlet of the peristaltic pump. The composition is forced via the peristaltic pump to a spray nozzle (28) located on the spray gun for application onto the skin of a customer. The spray gun includes a high volume, low pressure (HVLP) spray gun in some embodiments. A solenoid valve (46) is disposed between the peristaltic pump and the spray gun in some embodiments. The spray gun may be mounted on a tanning booth apparatus or alternatively may include a handheld spray gun device for manual spray applications in various embodiments.</p> |
