PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current take-out mechanism suitable for taking out a large capacity current in a secondary battery housing a flat and spiral electrode body.SOLUTION: This flat and spiral electrode body has a group of positive electrode plates at one end part thereof, the group of positive electrode plates has a thin region in which collector plates are bundled, and a thick region thicker than the thin region on the sealing plate side of the thin region, a positive electrode collector tab member connected to the group of the positive electrode plates has a first region disposed on the external surface of the thin region, a second region disposed between the sealing plate and the electrode body, and a third region formed between the first region and the second region, and disposed between the thick region and the large area side wall of a square outer can, and a distance between the third region and the large area side wall is smaller than a distance between the first region and the large area side wall. |
