The invention relates to a sealing device (2) including an inner sealing ring (13) having an annular inner sealing portion (14) provided with a sealing lip (15) intended for sealingly engaging with the outer surface of a striking piston (7) of a hydraulic striking apparatus, and an outer sealing member (25) provided around the inner sealing portion (14) and intended for sealingly bearing in the bottom of an annular recess (6) provided on the body for guiding the hydraulic striking apparatus. The inner sealing ring (13) further comprises an annular protection portion (17) axially offset relative to the inner sealing portion (14) and internally defined by at least one convergent, annular protection surface (18) converging toward the sealing lip (15), and an annular groove (22) leading inside the inner sealing ring (13), the annular groove (22) being provided between the sealing lip and the convergent protection surface (18). The protection portion (17) is arranged so as to define, in use conditions, an annular flow passage with the striking piston (7). |
