The present invention relates to: a production method of a hydrogen separation membrane which can prevent Pd from being plated inside a porous supporter and a porous screen layer during a production process of the hydrogen separation membrane; the hydrogen separation membrane produced by the method; and a use thereof. The production method of the hydrogen separation membrane according to the present invention is capable of controlling the plating of Pd on the porous supporter and/or the porous screen layer during a production process of a Pd containing dense thin film through electroless plating, by introducing a sealed layer for blocking the absorption and insertion of the electroless plating solution on one surface of the porous supporter, thereby increasing the active area and forming the thin separation membrane at the same time for providing the hydrogen separation membrane with improved hydrogen permeability.
