PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert a joint disassembling jig for expanding a lock ring, when a pipe joint is disassembled.SOLUTION: A lock ring is provided with a thrust force transmitting portion 11 stored in a space formed between a storage groove 4 formed an inner surface of a socket 2 and extending in a circumferential direction and an engaging groove 6 formed on an outer surface of an insertion port 1 of a pipe joint inserting the insertion port 1 of one pipe body p in the socket 2 of another pipe body p, and formed on an end surface 10a on an opening side of the socket 2 in a circumferential direction thereof as a surface vertical to a pipe axis; and a guide portion 12 for inserting a joint disassembling jig t into between the outer surface of the insertion port 1 and the guide portion 12 when the pipe joint is disassembled. |
