PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher capable of efficiently manufacturing a chamfered chip, and a method of manufacturing a burning chip.SOLUTION: A crusher 1 for manufacturing a burning chip crushes an object 5 which is a round sliced article made from a bamboo or wood; and includes a hollow casing 2, a feeding port 3, and a rotation hummer 25 having a striking surface 28 at a tip end and stored in the casing 2. The rotation hummer 25 is formed with a raised portion raised from a body portion in a direction of a rotation shaft 26 of the rotation hummer 25 at a tip end of the body portion, and the striking surface 28 is a curved surface and formed on the raised portion. The feeding port 3 and the rotation hummer 25 are disposed so as to strike a round sliced surface 6 of the round sliced article 5 fed from the feeding port 3 with the striking surface 28 of the rotating rotation hummer 25. |
