PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating a plurality of proxy identities for a given originator identity as means for providing the originator identity with controlled access in electronic mails, instant messaging, etc.SOLUTION: There are at least three security states, and more than three security states in embodiments. The security states control the manner in which proxy identifiers are restrictive of access to the destination identifier during the delivery of messages, are created, and are substituted for references to the source identifier in the message. The system supports multiple security settings that collectively interact with each other, resulting in a matrix of discrete security states and corresponding behaviors. For access control, messages can be denied, challenged, quarantined or accepted, each with variations. |
