Disclosed are a method for prompting a network speed and a mobile device. The method comprises: a mobile device detecting a data receiving speed when a current operating application receives data from a wireless network; in accordance with the detected data receiving speed, replacing a current display interface; and presenting a display interface corresponding to the data receiving speed. By presenting the display interface corresponding to the speed for receiving data from the wireless network, the present disclosure prompts a user about the current speed for receiving data from the wireless network, has diversified and direct prompt modes, and overcomes the problem that the prompt mode in the prior art cannot prompt the speed for receiving data from the network during full-screen display. |
