The present invention relates to a seedling container: which is formed of a biodegradable plastic material for growing seedlings for landscaping, afforestation, vegetation, and as an ornament; and includes multiple holes for growing roots of a pliant on a side wall. The holes (3) are formed into a size which does not leak soil from the inside, and have multiple slit type cut-out units (5) on the outer circumference of the holes to be easily expanded by the growth of the roots of the plant. The multiple holes with the cut-out units are formed on the side wall of the seedling container formed into a flowerpot shape using the biodegradable material, thereby smoothly growing the roots by the expansion of the holes along with the growth of the roots of the plants extending toward the outside through the holes, easily performing a transplanting work to the bare ground by transplanting the plants with the seedling container, and improving work efficiency.
