A pressure-bar-type connection device for testing liquid crystal displays (LCDs), comprising a pressure-plate (2) and a conductive rubber rod (1); said conductive adhesive rod (1) is provided with a plurality of conductive rings (11) capable of respectively corresponding to connection electrodes (31) of an LCD (3); the pressure plate (2) is disposed above the conductive rubber rod (1); a base (5) is disposed below the conductive rubber rod (1); said base (5) is provided with base conductive electrodes corresponding to said conductive rings (11); one end of the base (5) is provided with a fixed end (7); a pressure-lever (6) is provided on and is connected to the pressure-plate (2); one end of said pressure-bar (6) is connected to and can pivot at said fixed end (7); during use, the connection electrodes (31) of the LCD (3) are positioned over the conductive rubber rod (1); the conductive rings (11) of the conductive rubber rod (1) are connected to the base (5) conductive electrodes; by operating the pressure-bar (6), pressure is applied to the pressure-plate (2), causing the connection electrodes (31) to be closely pressed against and in full contact with the conductive rubber rod (1), thus avoiding friction between the connection electrodes (31) of the LCD (3) and the conductive rubber rod (1), making possible a decrease in abrasion. |
